Frequently Asked Questions

What is a Certificate of Analysis? +
A COA is a report from an independent lab that verifies the contents and purity of a product. For Jinshu, each batch is tested for cannabinoid potency (CBD, CBG, and THC levels) and microbiological safety to confirm the product meets our label claims and is free from harmful microbial contamination.
What tests do you perform on each batch? +
Every finished batch of Jinshu Balm is tested for cannabinoid potency (CBD, CBG, and THC concentration) and microbiological contaminants. Our cannabinoid isolate suppliers also provide their own Certificates of Analysis covering heavy metals, pesticides, and residual solvents on the raw ingredients before they ever enter our formulation.
Where do I find my batch code? +
Your batch code is printed on the product label and on the outer carton. It follows the format JB-YYYY-XXXX (e.g., JB-2025-0042).
Who performs the testing? +
All Jinshu products are tested by ISO/IEC 17025 accredited laboratories. We currently work with Kaycha Labs. These labs are independent and have no financial relationship with Jinshu.
Will my jar contain exactly the amount on the label? +
Every jar is formulated to deliver at least the stated amount of CBD and CBG, and may contain up to 10% more. This is intentional — we build in a small overage during manufacturing to ensure you always receive what's promised on the label, even accounting for normal processing variation.
What if my batch code isn't listed? +
New results are uploaded within 48 hours of receiving lab reports. If yours isn't listed yet, contact us at hello@jinshubalm.com and we'll send it directly.
Is Jinshu a medicine? +
No. Jinshu is a topical herbal balm. We describe the sensory experience of using it — nothing more.
